Ready for Half Marathon
I'm ready for the Detroit Half to be over so that I can start training. Sounds weird, but I don't think that I've ever gone about this whole training thing right recently. Reading a lot about building an aerobic base that is making me wonder if I have EVER gone about this right, all the way back to high school swimming. Lots of questions about why we were doing 20k yards/day during hell week in high school...
Anyway, I look forward to running very slow for a long time until I can run fast without raising my HR. As described here:
